Sara Park
If you find yourself visiting the Lake Havasu area, then make sure you stop by the Special Activities and Recreation Area, AKA SARA Park. This is the perfect place for anyone that likes to enjoy sports, beauty, and a day out in the sun.
This park is located at 7260 S. Sara Park Way and is about 5 minutes south of the city. It’s a regional park that will provide you with all the space you need to enjoy the sports activities you have been looking forward to participating in. Also, it is a great place to go and just take a walk.
Sara Park gives you the opportunity to enjoy more than 1,100 acres of recreational sports. You will be able to enjoy a game of softball, the BMX track, shooting range, raceway, hiking trails, and much more. Many people come to Sara Park to fly their model airplanes; this is always fun to watch.
Whether you are looking for a place to go to enjoy some recreational sports, go for a nice walk or hike, fly a kite, or just spend the day reading in a beautiful setting; Sara Park is the place for you to go. If you have children, you will want to take them to Sara Park where they can run around and burn all of that energy while they have a great time.
If you enjoy in-line skating, then you will be interested to know that Sara Park is also home to the Lake Havasu Hockey League. The hockey season begins in October and goes through until May. Whether you want to participate, or just watch, if you are into in-line hockey then this is where you want to be.
Sara Park is a great place for you to visit while you are in Lake Havasu and you should be sure that you bring lots of drinks and food.
