OVERVIEW:
Founded by Molly Butler, the ‘Grandmother of Greer’ in 1910, Molly Butler Lodge is the longest continually operating lodge in all of Arizona.  Nestled in the heart of the White Mountain village of Greer, Ariz., the lodge provides a genuine ‘good times’ retreat ideal for a cool, woodland get-away for friends, families or couples.

There are three quaint lodge rooms available for $75 Winter/$95 Summer per night, but guests can also enjoy the privacy and charm of authentic woodland lodging in any of Molly’s 50+ private cabins.  From small rustic log cabins to million dollar luxury log home estates on acre+ lots, Molly’s cabins are located throughout Greer’s rolling hills and forests, ranging in size to sleep anywhere from two to 18 people. Prices range from $95 to $495 per night. Stay 6 nights, get the 7th night free. Guests receive 10% discount at Molly’s for dinner.

MOLLY BUTLER LODGE RESTAURANT: (Open for lunch and dinner)
-Recognized as one of Arizona’s Top 25 Restaurants in the April 2009 issue of Arizona Highways.  Also ranked 101 Best Places to Eat in Arizona in 2006-2007 by Dining in Arizona.
-During his visit Herbert Hoover gifted Molly Butler with the White House Cookbook from which she obtained her award-winning Prime Rib Chili recipe, served daily at Molly’s.
-New Executive Chef Ruben Irigoyen took the reins in February 2010
-Menu updates: Prices have been reduced 10-15%. To locals delight, Chef Ruben brought back some of the traditional Molly’s guest favorites,  including AJ’s Pork Chop, named for owner Allan Johnson.
-“Get Greer On” Live Bands at Molly’s every Friday and Saturday throughout the summer (Country to Rock & Roll)

RENOVATIONS:  (Completion date, Summer 2012)
Renovations are underway to tastefully blend the historical charm of Molly’s with modern amenities. The Longhouse, Molly’s original lodging (circa 1910), and attached Bluebird Library (circa 1886) is currently being restored and renovated to include a private library parlor and four luxury suites.  Featuring authentic, custom made period furnishings that pay tribute to Molly and the legends that stayed at Molly’s throughout the past century including President Herbert Hoover, John Wayne, and famous western novelist Zane Grey.

RECENT/SHORT TERM EXPANSION:
With the 2,000-square-foot front deck, guests can soak in the beauty of Greer meadow while dining and drinking by the 80-square-foot second largest outdoor stone fireplace in the state.  Also, Molly’s entry and lobby area recently underwent an entryway change and facelift that will add to its authentic, historical, White Mountain ambiance.

NEW HOLIDAY ATTRACTION:  The North Pole Experience (www.NorthPoleExperince.com)
This interactive holiday attraction takes families on an adventure inside Santa’s Workshop and allows children to build toys with Santa’s elves.  Also features: Santa’s Toy Museum, Mrs. Claus’ Bakery, elves quarters and much more.
