This town as of today is now 130 square miles. It has come a long way from the one privately built structure originally placed here by Charles Tyson way back in 1856.
Quartzsite is also the home of the famous Gem and Mineral shows and Swap meet. In fact, many people travel from all across the country to enjoy this event and all that it has to offer. This is one event you don’t want to drive by and it will be fun for you and your whole family. Hundreds of people are in attendance. While you are there you will be able to meet people from all over while you enjoy looking around at everything that’s for sale.
